Precision engine setup requires the right tools. PROFORM’s Professional Crankshaft Turning Socket allows engine builders to smoothly rotate the crankshaft during camshaft degreeing, engine assembly, and timing verification.
Designed for Chrysler/Mopar V8 applications, this socket features a 1.385" inside diameter with both 3/16" and 1/4" keyways to properly engage the crankshaft snout. Once installed, the engine can be rotated using a standard 1/2" drive breaker bar or ratchet, giving builders the control needed for accurate setup procedures.
An integrated mount allows an oversized degree wheel to be attached directly to the socket, providing a larger and easier-to-read reference when checking cam timing and valve events.
