Engine assembly and camshaft degreeing require frequent crankshaft rotation, and using the proper tool makes the job easier and safer. PROFORM’s Crankshaft Turning Socket provides a simple and effective way to rotate the engine when the harmonic balancer has been removed.
This lightweight non-marring aluminum tool slips over the end of the crankshaft and features a 1.255" inside diameter with a 3/16" keyway to ensure proper fit and engagement. Once installed, the crankshaft can be easily rotated using a standard 1/2" drive breaker bar or ratchet, giving engine builders the control needed during assembly, timing checks, or camshaft degreeing.
Designed for durability and repeated shop use, this purpose-built tool helps prevent damage that can occur when using improvised methods to rotate the crankshaft.
The PROFORM Crankshaft Turning Socket is a smart addition to any engine builder’s toolbox when precision and proper engine setup matter.
